Mozianio “Trey” S. Reliford brings a wealth of litigation experience in the areas of complex white collar and regulatory defense, securities, antitrust, employment and intellectual property law.
Prior to joining Neal & Harwell, Trey was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York, where he represented a variety of clients from across the globe in high-stakes, high-profile matters, including representing a multinational mass media corporation in an internal investigation. In addition, Trey has represented numerous major financial institutions and technology companies in commercial and securities litigation disputes. He has served as pro bono counsel in a variety of cases including prisoner’s rights disputes, access to education litigation and immigration matters. Trey has been named a 2019 Attorney for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court for dedicating over 50 hours of pro bono service in 2018.
Trey earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2015, where he was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law, Corporate Relations Director for the Stanford Black Law Students Association, and Membership Chair of Stanford’s Chapter of American Constitution Society. In 2016, Trey had the honor of serving as a law clerk for Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
When not practicing law, Trey enjoys volunteering in his community, competing in sports, cheering on the Big Orange in Neyland Stadium and spending time with his wife, Kristina, and newborn daughter, Parker.
