A Nashville native, Isaac joined Neal & Harwell in 2010 after graduating from Vanderbilt University Law School. He is an experienced litigator, having represented both defendants and plaintiffs in matters ranging from products liability cases to “mass action” toxic tort cases. Isaac has served as lead counsel or second chair in nearly a half dozen jury trials federal and state court, and has served as lead counsel in bench trials, mediations, and appeals.

Before law school, Isaac graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2007.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Youth Encouragement Services, a Nashville-based nonprofit that focuses on enriching the lives of Nashville’s underprivileged youth. Isaac lives in Oak Hill with his wife, Jensi, and their son, Lincoln.

Notable representation and results:

  • Tried to verdict civil cases involving products liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice, contract, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims, and criminal cases involving contempt and white-collar criminal charges
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of major hotel chain in lawsuit alleging $75 million in damages
  • Successfully defended major tire manufacturer in multi-case consolidated proceedings involving multiple appeals
  • Favorably resolved multi-year corporate contract dispute involving two of world’s largest corporations
  • Obtained a defense verdict in favor of a major tire manufacturer following a jury trial involving multiple products liability claims
  • Successfully defended major oil and gas corporation in lawsuit alleging over $100 million in damages
  • Obtained settlements or judgments for plaintiffs totaling over $10 million in products liability cases, medical malpractice cases, and other personal injury matters
  • Represents Relators and Defendants in qui tam lawsuits alleging violations of the False Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. § 3729, et seq.
