For more information please contact: dbridgers@nealharwell.com
Neal & Harwell welcomes letters of inquiry from qualified first and second year law students who are interested in participating in Neal & Harwell’s summer clerkship program. The firm seeks clerks who have a record of academic excellence and achievement, both in law school and at the undergraduate level, are interested in experiencing a litigation-focused practice, and who have a demonstrated commitment to living in Nashville, Tennessee. The clerkship program is designed to ensure that clerks work on a wide variety of projects, the majority of which will be related to pending litigation, and that they work with a significant number of the firm’s lawyers. Although clerks typically spend the majority of their time researching and writing, the clerks’ interaction with the lawyers in the firm affords them meaningful insight into what the practice of law entails. Law students interested in pursuing a clerkship with Neal & Harwell should forward their resumes and law school transcript to David Bridgers at the address listed. Second year students should submit their resume by September 15, and first year students should submit their resume after January 1.
