Stephen M. Montgomery joined Neal & Harwell in 2008. His practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of commercial law, bankruptcy and corporate transactions. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee.

Prior to joining Neal & Harwell, Mr. Montgomery was a law clerk to The Honorable Alan E. Glenn of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.

Mr. Montgomery graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003, receiving his B.A. degree summa cum laude in political science. While an undergraduate, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha honor society. He received his J.D. degree in 2007 from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a research assistant in corporate and securities law.
