Ronald G. Harris joined Neal & Harwell in 1980. Prior thereto, in 1977 he was admitted into the practice of law in Arkansas. There he became a sole practitioner in his hometown of Clarksville, Arkansas, where he also served as city attorney.
Mr. Harris graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1974 with a B.A. in political science. He received his J.D. degree in 1977 from the Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was Order of the Coif and an associate editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
Mr. Harris’s principal area of practice is civil litigation, with a substantial part of his practice devoted to commercial and business disputes. His litigation experience includes product liability cases, bad faith and other insurance coverage cases, business torts, non-competition litigation, contractual disputes, construction disputes and employment issues. For a number of years, he has represented the Nashville CBS affiliate, NewsChannel 5, and has been involved in various defamation, First Amendment and other media-related issues.
