Trey Harwell joined Neal & Harwell in 1996. His principal areas of practice are civil litigation and white collar criminal defense. Mr. Harwell is a member of his firm’s Crisis Management Team and has also conducted numerous independent investigations on behalf of individual and corporate clients throughout the United States.
From 1995-1996, Mr. Harwell served as a law clerk for The Honorable Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He has been very involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Nashville Bar Association, since he began his career and is currently serving as President.
Mr. Harwell graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University in 1992 with a major in English and minor in Psychology and received his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
Mr. Harwell is also an avid marathon runner and has run over 30 marathons, including 9 Boston Marathon appearances.
