Cynthia Sherwood Parson joined Neal & Harwell in 2000. Her practice is focused on criminal litigation including white collar criminal defense and general criminal defense, and on civil litigation including product liability, entertainment law and commercial law cases.
Ms. Parson is admitted to practice in Tennessee and is a member of the bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee.
Ms. Parson received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with honors in 1997 from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. She received her J.D. degree in 2000 from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she received the Carl J. Ruskowski Clinical Legal Education Award presented to the student, who in representing clients in the Law School’s clinical program, demonstrated excellence in the practice of law and exemplified the highest standards of the legal profession.
